Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team and contribute to providing nutritious meals and excellent dining experiences for our residents. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and passionate about promoting health and wellness through food service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, assembly, and serving of meals to residents.
  • Follow dietary guidelines and residents' specific meal plans or restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to meet safety standards.
  • Assist with dishwashing, cleaning equipment, and maintaining sanitary conditions.
  • Respond to residents' questions or concerns regarding their meals.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and dietitians to meet dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or dietary aide roles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
