Imelda Serrano, BSN, RN

Imelda Serrano, BSN, RN, is the passionate founder of St. Agatha, bringing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (earned in 1990) and decades of dedicated experience to lead the team. She chose nursing because she loves taking care of the elderly and serving others— a calling deepened by her brother's and father's experiences with cancer. Imelda finds immense joy in providing compassionate, high-quality care that truly makes a difference in patients' lives. Her goal has always been to build the best home health company possible, drawing from her prior work in home health to create an environment that goes above and beyond. Outside of work, she unwinds by cooking, traveling, watching basketball (especially obsessed with Michael Jordan—complete with lots of gear and even driving hours to see him play with her 2-month-old daughter in tow!), and nurturing her plants. A devoted mother to three children and no pets, Imelda wants patients to know St. Agatha feels like family—committed to exceptional, heartfelt care for every individual.
