Faatimah Patterson

Faatimah Patterson is a board-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience in neurogenic disorders and a strong commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities across all ages. Ms. Patterson holds a Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Howard University, a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from South Carolina State University, and a degree in Interdisciplinary Sciences from the University of South Carolina, with minors in Psychology and Nursing. Her professional expertise includes advanced alternative and augmentative communication, neurocognitive training, traumatic brain injury, and interpersonal education. She is dedicated to improving quality of life through safe oral nutrition and hydration, cognitive-linguistic skill development, accessible community events, and assistance with medical and AAC equipment for individuals with dysphagia or communication challenges. Ms. Patterson is actively involved with the ALS of Nevada Chapter and is committed to serving the medically fragile community in Las Vegas. Her clinical training covers LSVT Loud, Vital Stim, S.O.S, PROMPT, PECS, Gestalt Language Processing, McNeill Dysphagia Therapy, Beckman Oral Motor, Articulation/Phonology, Trach/Vent, Passey Muir Valve, and more. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys BBQ and relaxing with her pet turtle and cat, Sammy.
