Concepcion "Cookie" Faust, BSN, RN, is a compassionate registered nurse who graduated from Ateneo de Davao University in the Philippines in 2006. Originally aspiring to become a physician, Cookie thoughtfully chose nursing for its flexibility and quicker path to helping others and allowing her to make an impact sooner while keeping future options open. Growing up near a hospital, she always admired nurses and doctors for their vital role in caring for the sick, and that respect has guided her career. She finds deep fulfillment in meeting people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, sharing their joys and sorrows, and simply being present and treating every patient like her own grandparents, aunts, or uncles with the dignity, respect, and care she'd want for her family. Cookie joined St. Agatha at the encouragement of founder Ms. Imelda Serrano, her exceptional former charge nurse, and has no regrets: the team has nurtured her growth in every way while reinforcing the principle of family-like care. In her free time, she loves hiking and exploring new places with her family, plus singing at karaoke. She and her family once had a Victorian bulldog and Saint Bernard (both now passed), and they now enjoy their 1-year-old bearded dragon named "Goodie." Cookie is grateful to contribute to St. Agatha's mission of heartfelt, patient-first home health.
